Do you want to set off on the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela and need an official pilgrim's passport (Credencial del Peregrino) for overnight stays in the hostels?

We will gladly issue you your personal pilgrim's passport – the document that accompanies you on your Camino and documents your journey step by step.

What we need from you

To issue the pilgrim's passport, we need the following information:

• First and Last Name

• ID number

• Address

• Place and date where your pilgrimage begins (if known)

• Pilgrimage form (on foot, by bicycle or on horseback)

Your pilgrim's passport – more than just a document

The pilgrim's passport is your official travel document on the Camino de Santiago.
Each stamp you collect along the way creates a unique record of your pilgrimage – and at the same time a personal diary in pictures.

For the last 100 kilometers, you need two stamps daily to receive the pilgrim's certificate (Compostela) at the pilgrim office in the Cathedral of Santiago at the end of your journey.

Many pilgrims keep their pilgrim's passport later as a precious memento of all the encounters, places and moments that shaped them on their Camino.
